How do I run ads on ChatGPT?

What are ChatGPT ads?

ChatGPT ads are OpenAI's advertising product, which shows sponsored placements to people using ChatGPT. Wakato's Ads Manager runs them through your own ChatGPT Ads account, next to your Meta, Google and TikTok campaigns.

Do I need a separate ChatGPT Ads account?

Yes. Wakato connects to an ad account you open with OpenAI; it doesn't sell ChatGPT ad space itself.

Does Wakato keep my API key?

No. The key you paste when connecting ChatGPT Ads goes to the ad partner Wakato uses to reach the platform, and Wakato doesn't store it.
